I am a realy stickler for just cream all over the house but am definitely going to paint a piece of furniture turquoise this year. I love it. My husband thinks I'm having him on but it's going to happen.
You've got the important bits in your room - my advice is to stick with that until you find the right pieces to give it your personality. Why don't you have a go at making a sign for your walls or putting a load of photographs on one wall!
~Sam xSamantha2818https://www.blogger.com/profile/16696352521361347405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7828021706958060839.post-41902606503673168062010-03-09T00:07:02.522+08:002010-03-09T00:07:02.522+08:00Hi Amanda! I think almost any shade of blue or turquoise or of course white would be great! I totally agree about how sometimes it is nice to have carpet with little ones..
Enjoy the hunt!Janicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10327626851295816017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7828021706958060839.post-5513951908704639272010-03-08T19:35:32.436+08:002010-03-08T19:35:32.436+08:00Thanks for all the comments and ideas everyone! I love that little side table...I suppose the safest colour to go would be white as it will always fit it..but I was thinking turquoise...I know I know..big risk..but you seem to always mention how much you love that colour ..but havent gone down that road yet..I say...take a risk and do it! I love the stool I ended up painting turquoise...Im so glad I went with it...and yours will still tie in with the blue cushions you have. I also think that stool painted turquoise and placed in your bathroom would look gorgeous too.

thats my input...are you sick of it yet? lol xAnna Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15849163903759164196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7828021706958060839.post-51381102289831489252010-03-08T17:57:22.653+08:002010-03-08T17:57:22.653+08:00Oh yes, wallpaper would be perfect. Just before I opened your page I was staring at the bare spot above the mantle thinking about making a piece of art for it.
Have a lovely week! xSarah Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12869923063594203447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7828021706958060839.post-33327906560291552672010-03-08T16:04:41.439+08:002010-03-08T16:04:41.439+08:00Amanda, you've got the bones of the room sorte...Amanda, you've got the bones of the room sorted, now you're up to the fun part. You have the perfect neutral background on which to layer colour and texture, so take your time finding things you love to put your stamp on the space. Maybe paint the table in a favourite colour - you can send it to another room if you feel like a change.
Thanks for sharing your pics
Kerri xKerri - Driftwood Interiorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08760287774226009251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7828021706958060839.post-64828111588826509922010-03-08T15:27:53.529+08:002010-03-08T15:27:53.529+08:00Amanda, gorgeous room with soft carpet:) Sometimes...Amanda, gorgeous room with soft carpet:) Sometimes I miss carpet.
