A Busy Week Ahead...

Just letting you know I'm taking a break from this little space of mine for a week or so to focus on some other areas of my life demanding my attention at the moment... doing Advent activities with my girls (I will be sure to post about these soon), organising myself for Christmas (I only have one present left to buy but twenty six I still need to wrap, gift tags to craft and goodies to bake), getting on top of things housework-wise (my study is still calling me, my 'clutter basket' is overflowing and I have just received a late notice for yet another overdue bill) and needing to attend several appointments.

I'll be back with some post-worthy content to share with you all soon once I feel my little world is more balanced...

  3. It is always such a hectic time of year isnt it so much to do! Iv still got a few more gifts to buy and a partner who loves to leave his present shopping until right before xmas which drives me mad! Enjoy the wind down and Im sure it is all worthwhile when you see the look on the girls faces on Xmas Day :)

  13. Always good to take time out Amanda. I took a week off last night (or shall I say I had no choice but to take a week off when I fell ill!). It felt nice to step away. To refocus and to pay closer attention to little things at home. That's the beauty of this, isn't it. I've made a point this year for the first time of taking away from my to-do list rather than adding things in the name of Christmas. Instead of baking treats for teachers, I'm layering the ingredients in a jar for them to bake themselves and instead of writing Christmas cards, I'm sending out a Christmassy email and photo. It feels so much better to me. Hope you get your balance, and thanks as always for your beautiful comments at mine. Hugs to you. x

  14. Christmas is such a busy time!

I had such a long list of Christmas crafts and baking I wanted to do but the reality is I'll be stretched to set the table for Christmas lunch!

Enjoy your break with your beautiful family :)
