Priceless Beauty Products

Don't you hate it it when a product you love suddenly becomes discontinued? I have specific hair products I have found work well with my curls, so when I went to buy one such product the other day, I was disappointed to find that it appears to no longer be made. Luckily, I have since found a Priceline store with a small bundle left, so I snapped up three tubes to store away.

This got me thinking, which beauty product would you be lost without if you found it was no longer available?

  1. That's so annoying when that happens isn't it!
If Dermalogica products were discontinued I think my face would fall off :) No not really, but I just love their cleanser and moisturiser so much I would hate to think of having to switch.

I hope you can track down some more of your product so you can store it away for future.

Wishing you a very very happy weekend Amanda! Hugs to you and Gracie!

  2. I have just been shopping @ Karrinyup and popped in to Crabtree & Evelyn to pick up some more of their yummy botanicals in-shower moisturiser to find it has been discontinued also!! Very disappointed... I love Clarins and would be lost without my Beauty Flash Balm. Have a great weekend! xx

  3. I must say I do like trying out diferent products but do keep coming back to the Clarins cream cleanser and Jurlique Rosewater. Love Pod products as well. Re hair, Biolage did discontinue my fave shampoo so that was a bummer :)

  4. That is so frustrating... especially when it's for tricky hair or sensitive skin!
What is it called? If there is any at my priceline stores, I can grab them, and send them on to you! I would struggle without my facial wash/cleanser, as it doesn't dry my face out!

  5. How frustrating , the expense of trying out new products to get the same result.
I would be lost without my Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant & there gentle creme exfoliant. As a ex -beauty therapist I have tried so many different exfoliants & this is the ultimate for my skin. I use natural products for cleansing & moisturising (like to keep synthetic products to a minimum on my skin)

  6. That's frustrating when you find something that you like and they stop making it:( I hope you find something else you like.

I don't have a favourite brand but I would have to say my moisturiser, my skin gets really dry in winter. I'm trying a new one called Moo Goo and I love the smell, so I think this might be my favourite this winter.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.xo

  7. I have been using the same lipstick for far to long now and it has nearly run out. It is the perfect shade and I have spent a fortune trying to find one the same.
I would love to have your curls (and I bet I''m not the first person that's said that to you right?):o)

  8. Good question!!! I would have said my Lancome face moisturiser which I've been using for 10 years.... but guilt has forced me to buy Loreal for the first time this week :(. I do have a Lancome facial wash that I have loved forever too. They discontinued my fave purfume Stila Creme Bouquet and I had to stalk international Ebay to find rougue bottles! Bring back my Stila purfume!!! Have a great weekend, possum x

  9. Hi Amanda, that must be very frustrating. My all time hero product is Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid. My skin went bezerk after the pregnancy, and this is the product that saved me from going nuts. I don't think that Paula will be discontinuing this, after all this is THE product that made her famous.

  12. how very annoying! i haven't had this happen to me before with beauty products (thank goodness) but I know I was most upset when my very fussy cat's favourite food was discontinued. I trekked around everywhere buying up the last of the line and my dad very dutifully did the same. I think we managed to find about 100 tins. Hahah, god now I sound like the crazy cat lady.

No holidays for me yet, just down for a course and a weekend with my dad, two more weeks to go and i'll be back again! can't wait :)

  13. I hear ya! I have a lipstick color that's been discontinued and when I run out, I have to search all over on the web for it! I'm just waiting for the day that I can't find it anywhere. It'll be one very sad, sad day! :-(
