Weekend Snapshots

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. We went shopping on Saturday morning to get a new suit for Paul for the wedding we have coming up on Easter Saturday. Later in the day, my friend Kylie came for afternoon tea and brought some cute cupcakes from Sherbet with her for us to enjoy (see the photo above).

Yesterday, we went to the local community fair. It was nice to wander around in the sunshine looking at the different stalls and Grace enjoyed seeing all the animals in the mobile farm enclosure.

What lovely things did you all do over the weekend?

  1. Looks like you had a great weekend! I worked - but Mon and Tues are my weekend this week. Grace would have loved seeing the animals!
You asked about my herb pots. One is very large and the other two are a couple of hand spans across. I reckon drying out could be a problem but I haven't grown many herbs to know. We'll see what happens.
    Have a great week!

  4. Your weekend sounds fabulous Amanda. Those cupcakes look so delicious, I wish I had one right now to go with my cuppa. Your sweet Grace is just so adorable Amanda! Was she frightened by the animals at all? Our girls used to be really timid but Grace looks very happy having her toes sniffed by that cute goat - just gorgeous:) Wishing you a wonderful week my lovely friend ~ Tina xx

  5. Hi Amanda. Just stumbled across your blog. I'm a new blogger from Victoria. I'm going to be doing the same thing as you - posting about making my house a home! Would love if you wanted to stop by and let me know what you think!

  7. Those cakes would go very nicely with my cup of tea right now. Might have to make some later with the girls (we've got 5 here this week). My weekend was spent slowly dying (or it felt like that). The little ones and I have had a ghastly chest infection all week. Looking forward to getting better! Grace is just too cute, give her a big kiss from me..Rxx

  8. What a lovely weekend you had! Grace looks so cute, like she's not sure if she's scared of the goat or if she wants to grab it by the horns.
