My Favourite Frock
Do you have an all time favourite item in your wardrobe? For me it's the dress above which is definitely one of my 'best buys'. I spotted it at Picnic a few years ago and thought I'd try it on to make myself feel better about having to leave it on the rack when it didn't fit right. It ended up fitting perfectly and with several upcoming weddings to attend, I bought it.
I have worn this dress over and over to functions we've been to and with another wedding to attend this Friday and no time to shop for something new, I'm contemplating getting yet another wear out of it.
What about you? What is your all time favourite item of clothing that you would describe as your 'best buy'?

What a stunning dress Amanda, I can see why you love wearing it as it looks fantastic on you. You're so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... my best buy... I've got a strapless black dress that is always a winner and a black wool coat that is also a staple classic.
Have a great evening,
Jxx
You are so sweet Janette :) A good fitting coat is a definite 'must have' item in your wardrobe x
ReplyDeleteWow! It does look gorgeous on you! My best buy is a stretchy black dress with cowl neck. I've had it for years. x
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and you look gorgeous in that dress.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous! Beautiful dress. I have a dress called 'the wedding dress' for the same reason. It's just a perfect fit, and not only have I worn it to a couple of weddings, two of my friends have borrowed it for weddings. :) x
ReplyDeleteI love it when you find something that you can wear over and over again. I have a few things in my wardrobe that I love wearing and would wear every day if I could. Your dress is gorgeous x x

ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress Amanda! You look stunning! I love dresses but hardly ever wear one! I probably don't have a favourite, although the one I wore yesterday to a Melbourne Cup lunch could become one. My sister is getting married in a couple of weeks and I think I might wear it then too! xx
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I had a dress that fitted me perfect like you look in yours.
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning Amanda.
If I could find dresses that suit me , I would wear one every day ! I love dresses , I think that is why my 7 year old has sooo many because I can buy them off the rack & as long as I pick the right colour dress they look lovely on her.

ReplyDeleteReally really gorgeous dress - My favourite thing changes all the time but I've just treated myself to a lovely camel coat for the UK winter! I love wearing it as it makes every outfit look stylish (even if i have something rubbish on underneath!!)
