Sophie’s Backyard Photo Shoot

Back when Grace was a baby, I took photo after photo.  I feel a bit sorry for Sophie that I haven’t been as snap happy over the past few months, so the other day, I took the opportunity to have a photo shoot in the backyard under the shade of our trees.  The shot below is my favourite out of the ones I took.  I love that the mat that Sophie is lying on is actually one my Mum used with me when I was a baby.

Our little bub is becoming even more delightful as every new day passes and she is now an extremely happy, smiley baby.  In those first few months after she was born, feeling exhausted and frazzled, I couldn’t wait for the newborn days to pass as quickly as possible.  Now, I find myself a little sad that our baby is growing so quickly.  I’m really looking forward to watching my little chickadee grow and develop over the next few months and am soaking up every bit of baby bliss while it lasts.

  1. She is so gorgeous Amanda. I had the similar feeding issues with Gus that you had with Sophie, all that seems like so long ago now. Let's hope time starts to slow a little hey? x

  9. She couldn't get any sweeter. Such a beauty.

I know what you mean about the photos. Number one doesn't move without a shot, number two... not so much. Number three is when you start babbling on about recording it all in your memory... x

  14. The poor second child story. I think I might need to cull some of number one's photos to even it out a bit!

Gorgeous photos - hope time slows down and you enjoy a few easier months. xx

  16. She is so beautiful Amanda!

My problem is that I take so many photos that getting around to sorting and editing them is a bit of task. The weekly series kind of forces me to though :)
