Back After A Break

Image via Ada and Darcy

I must apologise for disappearing from blogland over the past week. I haven't quite felt 100% and just needed to rest and have some time out. The terrible heat we've been experiencing hasn't helped much either as our study is the only room without an airconditioning vent and I couldn't bear sweltering in front of the computer. Perth has had virtually a fortnight of days over 35 degrees - I am longing for some autumn weather now that we're into March.

Anyway, I'm in a chirpier mood today and hope to be back to blogging as usual by the end of the week...

  9. I know when I was in Perth and it was that temperature I really felt the heat, yet I'm originally from Darwin which is undeniably hot. Hope the weather cools down for you soon. Are you pregnant?? That makes it worse! xx

  15. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't felt well... Actually I'm having sore throat as well. It sounds like your area has experienced some hot days. I hope it'll cool off soon and you can enjoy the fall weather. My being from Japan, it is very interesting for me to hear that it'll be fall around April. I would love to experience the Australian four seasons! Take a good care...

  19. Glad to see you back Amanda, I need to time out sometimes too, I think its good to just have a little break sometimes, from everything! :). I hope you are feeling better xx Would you please be able to send some of that heat down here to me, you have no idea what I would give to feel 35 degrees, even for a day! It has been soooo cold here all through summer, my kids have only been swimming twice and even then they turned blue lol we have snow on the mountain, and the last 2 days. It will be blissful whne you start to get some cooler temps though after such heat, I hope Grace is holding up, its har for the little ones.
