New Necklace

I finally got around to ordering some jewellery from Elk Accessories. From the pieces I had been considering, I ended up ordering the drop pendant as I like the idea of it being adjustable.

My package arrived last week and was one of the loveliest wrapped online purchases I have ever received. I'm really pleased with the necklace I chose.

How about you? What lovely packages have you received in the mail lately?

  1. I absolutely love Elk accessories, I first learnt of Elk through a fellow blogger :)
My post office box hasn't had any surprises of the lovely kind waiting for me lately. I keep opening it expecting to find my uni paperwork etc, it still hasn't arrived and uni starts for me on the 1st of March. I'll be excited when it arrives.

  3. Amanda, your necklace is so beautiful!! It was also wrapped so beautifully! How nice it must have been to have gotten such a lovely little parcel in the post! I hope you receive another one tomorrow ;) I remember your original post on the Elk jewellery, as I think that was my first post that I read of yours, and loved it! So it is really nice to see the piece you chose, it will look just beautiful on you. I am so sorry that I have not told you how gorgeous your new profile pic and header are!! Your blog looks just beautiful, you are so clever! Enjoy that necklace ~ Tina xx

  5. Life and the Memoirs - how lovely that you are enjoying what you are studying - I think that's so important.

Janette - the adjustable part has already been useful - great for different necklines

Tina - thanks so much for your sweet comments. I've been trying to spruce up my blog but I'm no expert with computers so it's taking a while to make changes. I've been rushing to the letterbox each day when I hear our postie ;)

  7. Hi Amanda
Gorgeous necklace - I am an Elk fan too, it is so nice to see others taking the time with the "details" isn't it!

Well, for us no packages coming in, they will be all going out next week as we begin our journey westwards - currently packing up our home and organising a fairy party for Sophie who turns 3 on Sunday! Busy busy!! We found a lovely house to lease in Dalkeith - will be arriving on 19/3 to commence life in Perth. Bye for now, Christine

  10. Gorgeous choice Amanda, I love the style and what an extra lovely surprise to have it wrapped so beautifully, just like a late Chrissy pressie from yourself!

I know you are going to laugh, but the aussie post van turned up the other day and had a huge box for me... I was trying to think what it could be... soooo excited, then read the tag... '150 litre esky' from ebay!!! My hubby has been ordering online again. It is enormous, (I can fit both the kids in it easily) but will be great for all our camping out in the middle of no where.
Something cute next time would be nice!
    :)
